The model of N female bulkhead crimp connector is N-C-KY1.5.N series are very popular screw-coupling middle-or-low power coaxial connectors with impedances of 50Ω and 75Ω. They are widely used for electrical instruments or applications where vibration resistance and environmental protection is required, including communication equipment, coaxial components,duplexers, couplers, microwave testing system and microwave network or connecting RF cables. Connected with high accuracy semi-flexible or semi-rigid cables N connectors can work up to11GHz resulting in low VSWR.
Components
N-type connectors are irreplaceable components used in electronic devices to connect circuits and transmit current. The basic structure of a connector can be divided into four parts: contacts, insulators, housing, and accessories.
Contacts: Consisting of male and female contacts, the two mating forms an electrical connection. Contacts are the core component of the N-type connector and primarily provide the electrical connection.
Insulators: These allow the contacts to be arranged in the desired position and spacing, while ensuring insulation between the contacts and between the housing and the contacts. Insulators, also known as bases or mounting plates, require insulating materials with excellent insulation resistance, voltage resistance, and ease of processing.
Housing: Serving as the outer cover of the N-type connector, it primarily provides mechanical protection for the insulated mounting plate and pins contained within.
Accessories: There are two types: structural accessories and installation accessories.
Structural accessories include clamps, coupling rings, cable clamps, locating pins, guide pins, sealing rings, and gaskets; installation accessories include screws, nuts, threaded rods, and spring coils.
