The model of type N female to female surge arrestor is TD-FDN-KK-2.Gas Discharge Tube Surge Protector utilized a gas-filled discharge tube(GDT). The GDT works as an insulator but can be automatically conductive in very short time when the lightening current flows into the protector, then the lightening current will be diverted to earth via outer contact and grounding means. Once the surge subsided, theGDT revert to its original condition, and be ready fornext spark-over.It can work repeatedly if on damage done to the GDT and the maintenance is easy since the GDT is replaceable. It has the characteristics of wide frequency range, low vswR, low insert loss and easy installation.(Some models were developed with CITEL).
