Design Principles
This SMA metal dust cap features a dual-protection design; a threaded locking mechanism ensures a secure fit and prevents detachment, while an internal O-ring compresses upon tightening to seal the gap, creating an airtight and watertight barrier. The nickel- or gold-plated cap offers corrosion resistance, maintaining a stable, dry internal micro-environment and effectively protecting against corrosion caused by salt spray and moisture.

Notes
1. High-altitude scenarios: The higher the altitude, the lower the air breakdown voltage. Do not apply full voltage (1000V r.m.s).
2. Extreme temperatures: Prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding +165℃ will soften the PTFE medium, accelerate O-ring aging, and degrade pressure resistance.
3. Sealed model maintenance: Replace O-rings regularly in salt spray/high-temperature environments. O-ring failure will lead to a simultaneous decrease in waterproofing and insulation capabilities.
4. Specification compatibility: Only compatible with standard SMA female connectors. Do not use with BNC, N-type, or other RF connectors.
